Hmm... Smell this!

The other day I was looking for a fragrance and found myself in the Guerlain perfume section. I sampled their Guerlain Aqua Allegoria collection and I am loving the Nerolia Bianca. The fragrance reminds me of springtime; very fresh and citrusy. Sigh...smells so good! You have to try it!

Every spring, a new limited edition Aqua Allegoria joins the four permanent creations. You'll love the Nerolia Bianca if you like fresh, green, natural fragrances along with hints of orange. This was released late March 2013 and is available in 75mL.

I also love the packaging, the top of the bottle has a golden honeycomb and on the stopper there's an engraved bee. I find that really cool since, my personal symbol is a bee!

Here are my top 10 skin care products, in no particular order.

1. Cetaphil Facial Cleanser - True and tested; never fails to gently clean my face and without irritation too! Dermatologist recommended.

2. Clarisonic Mia 2 - Best cleansing system ever! I can write so much about this product but I'll let you read about it from their site. A bit pricey but worth the investment.  It made my face smoother, softer and helped my moisturizer absorb better. I absolutely love this product!

3. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion - Good for everyday use. It is very lightweight and absorbs quickly.  Not to mention, it has a soothing and light scent as well!

4. Josie Maran Argan Oil - I was skeptical about using oil because I thought it will irritate my face and clog my pores, however, I heard so much about as well as good reviews so I tried it. Good decision!  When I woke up the next day, my skin looked so heathly and amazing; not dry or irritated at all. This product is rich in Vitamin E and other essential oils.

5. Clearasil Acne Control Cream (Vanishing - Invisible) - Works perfectly, fast absorbing, acne gone! Mission Accomplished!

6. Nivea Sun Daily Face Fluid with SPF 30 - What I like about this sunblock is that it is non-sticky, absorbs quickly and the scent is lovely.

7. Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer in Cocoa Radiant - This product is so convenient and easy; literally as it says 'spray and go'. This keeps you moisturized for a smoother, healthier looking skin and is also non-greasy.

8. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist SPF 30 - This sunblock is lightweight, non-greasy and also smells good. Always use sunblock to protect your skin from the damaging effects of the sun.

9. EOS Honeysuckle Honeydew Lip Balm - First of all, I'm a sucker for packaging! Second, this lip balm is all natural. I think all of the EOS lip balms smell good actually but this one really helps smoothen and moisturize my lips.

10. Evian Facial Spray - Keeps my face hydrated and refreshens me instantly. Very affordable too!

Spring Cleaning - Clothes

I have come to realize that my clothes are taking over my bedroom and I finally woke up from my denial stage that I need to do some editing in my closet. Let me tell you; this hurts me more than you know. I love clothes but, sadly, the realization hit that there might be someone out there who can make more use out of them than my hangers.

First, grab 4 bins or 4 large tote bags; basically anything you can place your clothes in.

Categorize the bins:

1) Ripped/Stained/Beyond Repair - This can go to H&M Long Live Fashion. For each bag of donated clothes, you receive a $5 voucher.

2) Don't fit or Out of style - This can go to charity like Goodwill.

3) Too gorgeous but doesn't fit - Organize a clothing swap party with friends and have a few sangrias while at it!

4) Fit perfectly - The winners! These go back to your closet. Since they're out, take some time to organize them when placing them back.

During the sort, you can try on each article of clothing but this will take some time. So, if you already know that something won't fit, put it in the appropriate bin; and no psycho-analyzing yourself that it will fit you again if you wait a few more months of dieting...nope. The truth will set you free, girl!  Just do it and believe me, you'll feel good about it later.

Tip: Velvet hangers are a great investment as the velvety texture prevents clothes from falling off. Plus, they are thin so they don't take up too much space. You can find them at stores like Walmart and Home Depot.
